Beauty Booster – The Hudson’s Wellness Shot 

Our skin cocktail called the “Beauty Booster” includes a powerful trifecta (glutathione, vitamin C and zinc) that offers benefits for both your skin and overall health.  Glutathione, renowned for its antioxidant properties, helps combat oxidative stress, promoting a brighter complexion. It also reduces the production of melanin (skin pigment) addressing hyperpigmentation concerns. Vitamin C, our other favorite antioxidant, enhances collagen synthesis, boosting skin firmness and resilience against early signs of aging. Zinc supports collagen production, aiding in skin elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. IV therapy and wellness injections are safe, effective ways to hydrate, rejuvenate, and invigorate your body. Whether you’re seeking an energy boost, immune support, or recovery from a strenuous workout, our tailored IV treatments provide the perfect solution. While most people can benefit from these treatments, it may not be suitable for everyone. Our medical provider will conduct a thorough health assessment prior to treatment to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you. 

What to expect

Undergoing IV therapy is comparable to receiving a blood draw for lab work. Our medical team gently inserts a sterile needle into your vein and secures it in a comfortable position. The needle is then connected to your selected IV treatment. The IV will take roughly 30min-1 hour to reach completion. Your IV will be secured to your arm, but you will still be able to move freely throughout the spa while connected.  Our wellness shots are a quick, and painless treatment. Your provider will clean your arm and inject the medication directly into the muscle.  

IV treatments and wellness shots can be done as isolated treatments or added on to other treatments such as a facial, to maximize your time here at the Spa. Our wellness shots are also an easy add on to any of your appointments. Feel free to discuss with your provider what wellness options are best for you and your goals.

For setting up the IV treatment most people experience only a slight pinch when the needle is inserted. After that, the procedure is generally comfortable. Our trained staff ensures a gentle and smooth process. For wellness shots, you will experience a slight pinch and discomfort during the quick process just like getting any other shot. 

Side effects are rare with IV treatment but may include slight bruising at the injection site, a cool feeling in the arm, or a metallic taste in the mouth. Our medical staff monitors you during the session to ensure your safety.  

For injections the most common side effect is muscle soreness or bruising at the injection site.

It’s best to eat a light meal and drink water before your IV session. The more hydrated you are the easier the process will be to set up your IV. Our staff is here to ensure the experience is as comfortable as possible.
